Why is there so much stuff on religion?
Politics: There are over 20 political issues, such as, "Should abortion be legal?",  "Should taxes be raised", "Should we have more gun control" etc.

Religion: There is only one issue: Does God exist?

How come there are more posts from this one singular issue (The existence of God) then there are from every single political issue COMBINED?  There are more posts on the religion forum than all the political issues on the political forum.  WHY?

I just don't see what's the problem with saying some gay people lick erections.  Some Trump supporters think the election was rigged.  Some gay supporters (many of whom are gay themselves) lick erections.  I don't see what is the issue here.

I fail to see how it could be viewed as racist, but this thread isn't homophobic.  It is a joke.

And although lesbians are homosexual, they aren't gay.

Saying that gay people lick erections isn't homophobic.  It is factual for some gay people because some gay people in fact do lick erections.  Just like some Trump supporters (not all) think the election is rigged.

I was not making fun of Asians.  They did not even cross my mind.

Bukhari[52:260] "...The Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.' ".  The Quran advocates the death penalty for those that leave Islam.
- The same way the US Constitution does...
The US constitution doesn't kill atheists and it prohibits the death penalty except for high crimes and felonies.

As for US today, we can see the news, every day. It's terrible. You don't have to go that far to lie to my face like that.
The media takes extremely rare incidents in the US and blows them up to be this very big thing.  I think the news should switch it's content from covering murder stories (which nobody really cares about) to something else, maybe laws the US government is making so if there is a bad law, our politicians get voted out.

Not to burst your bubble friend, but much of the rest of the world does not have such a rosy picture of your country as you imagine.
America has many allies.

You have to establish your convictions with proofs
America's first amendment prohibits the government getting involved, but there is too much corruption in DC.  That's why I'm wanting to run for POTUS uncorrupted.

As I said, the state can not allow anything that undermines its authority. The US constantly undermines governments all over the world, but it's too powerful to be undermined by other states. This was not the case during the Cold War, when the Soviets were almost as powerful. & this will not be the case in the near future either, for more powerful states are rapidly emerging, like China. From 1990s to 2000s the US has seen its most stable period, less so since the Patriot Act. & we have seen huge signs of instability in the US for the past couple of years, where, for instance, huge chunks of Trump supporters were jailed & silenced. Palosi called the attack on Hong Kong Parliament a "beautiful sight of behold" of people rising to topple the government accusing Hong Kong of human right violations, yet when the same thing happens in the US, they bring in 25k troops & jail people by the droves. This hypocrisy was not lost on anyone.
We shouldn't be undermining other country's governments and I think the Trump supporters were jailed for threatening politician's lives.  If someone breaks into my home, I might shoot them.  I don't want to risk getting killed by some criminal, and if I have a gf, I don't want her getting raped.  I don't want my shit stolen.  This is why I would want to get a gun to protect myself.

So if you leave your country to move to America, and you renounce your allegiance to your former country, you would get put to death?
- I'm talking about things a thousand years ago. How is that relevant today???
Because your saying that if someone renounces their state in Islam, that they are put to death.

Snowden was regarded as a hero by many.
- Christchurch Tarrant was regarded as a hero by many too, your point?
My point is that the US public didn't denounce Swoden for revealing the government's spying powers.

The Muslims in the US have to hide their Islam out of fear for being jailed or executed.
You probably haven't been to America, but there are mosques and people being open about their Muslim faith.  They don't get prosecuted for this.  Most people leave them alone.

Maybe we can debate American values vs. Islamic values? You can pick the topic.
If we debate, I'd perfer it to be unrated.  Unless I'm sure I can win a rated debate, I don't have the guts to do a rated debate.  But I got some other debates going right now.

It is my understanding that Black Lives Matter is not solely about police brutality. It's about people getting away with killing black people, suggesting black lives are not valued as much as white people in the criminal justice system overall.
Very few people seriously believe that blacks are worth less than white people in the criminal justice system.  Blacks are more likely to end up in jail, but there are lurking variables to this.  The presence of single motherhood is something that effects the black community more and this is why you see blacks being more likely to commit crime; because people in single motherhood environments are more likely to commit crime.  Also people in urban areas are more likely to commit crime whether black or white.

George Zimmerman got away with killing Trayvon Martin. Soon Ja Du killed 15 year old Latasha Harlins, was found guilty of voluntary manslaughter and received NO jail time. The list goes on. These are black teenagers who were needlessly killed and their perpetrators got away with it virtually scot free, while many black people rot in jail for things like drug offenses.
While people shouldn't be punished for mere drugs use, the examples you point out are very rare.  If BLM cared about black lives, they would want to end single motherhood.  A majority of black people want to end single motherhood, but BLM doesn't really push this message even though it would help out black people more than bringing justice to the extremely rare events that you brought up.

Who knows if the killers of Ahmaud Arbery would have even been charged had it not been for public pressure.
40% of all murderers get away with their crime(There’s a 40 percent chance you’ll get away with murder in America - Vox).  It is very easy to assume that the killers of Ahumnd Arbery and the other cases that you mentioned merely got lucky rather than the criminal justice system being racist.  There have been black people that murdered white people and got away with it.  This isn't because of racism, but instead because of the need for evidence to convict someone of murder (and government waste).  Privatizing the police will bring this proportion down.

I was asking what Christians thought about this Bible passage in relation to All Lives Matter.
Christians shouldn't form their policy opinions based on the bible.  This is not a theocracy and I don't know too many people that want America to become a theocracy.

I am an atheist and biblical passages shouldn't dictate legal opinions.  But the police present such a minor threat to black lives that if I were black, I wouldn't worry about getting killed by the police.  The lifetime odds of a black person getting killed by the police is .1%.  If you think this is too high, you should never drive again because your lifetime odds of dying in a car crash are much greater than this.  A little bit of risk is acceptable.

@Yassine
Bukhari[52:260] "...The Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.' ".  The Quran advocates the death penalty for those that leave Islam.

The US has never stopped persecuting people for political views, wether be it the Irish, or the Chinese, or the catholics after them, or the Japanese in WWII, or the communists in the Red Scare, or the muslims in the War on Terror
These groups aren't oppressed in the United States.  I know many open Irish, and Chinese people; I was raised Catholic and my parents definitely aren't oppressed, The Japanese, communists, and Muslims aren't oppressed either.  Trump's Muslim ban did not pass so Muslims can enter the country.

now for so many things I can't even count: white-nationalism, nazism, racism, antisemitism, homophobia, transphobia...etc.
These groups get free speech, but they aren't running the country and making policy that makes lives worse for jews, blacks, gays, or transgenders unless there is a victim at play.  For instance, some people oppose trans women competing with cis women because of the claim that trans women have denser bones and more testosterone that would make them easily a favorite to beat a cis women in the sport, thus making it unfair for cis women.  But nobody in power is in favor of killing or jailing transgenders for instance.

Propaganda. The State, by design, must terminate what or who undermines it, otherwise endangering itself.
Representatives and presidents have political opponents at every election cycle.  The representatives don't censor their opponents.  They don't kill their political opponents.

I can say things in Saudi Arabia & nobody would care, but if I say them in the US they would likely throw me in jail.
This is probably inaccurate.  While communism was historically censored, it isn't anymore because the US lived up to it's ethos of freedom in the end.

You are indoctrinated since early age to sanctify democracy & liberty & freedom of speech
In American schools (something I attended), the schools teach us about the bad stuff we did (like slavery, the trail of tears).  It's because of this that many people have a negative view of America, and they don't go to jail for it.

Although most schools do think this hadith refers to apostasy, the Awzai school does not, as they understood the word 'Deen' to mean allegiance.
So if you leave your country to move to America, and you renounce your allegiance to your former country, you would get put to death?  The rest of this paragraph you claim that the penalty for leaving Islam is death according to the other schools you mentioned:

The Hanafi school interpret the word as allegiance in religion, for the Prophet (pbuh) specifies in a different hadith "those who abandon their faith & desert the community" (providing a more restrictive definition): thus they sanction death for militant apostasy. The Maliki school, on the other hand, take the view that this applies to any apostate who knowingly & willingly came into religion then left it.

A Snowden from another country might have been celebrated there as a hero, while in the US he is deemed a traitor.
Snowden was regarded as a hero by many.

There is probably a 0.1% to 1% atheists in the Muslim world, that's millions of people... That does not mean apostates are killed either.
The atheists in Muslim countries have to hide their atheism out of the fear of being jailed or executed.

There are two ways an apostate might get in serious trouble with the state: 1. publicly criticize the state
It's totally fine to criticize the state; I for one don't like Biden waving pride flags at US military bases.  The only flag that should fly on US military bases is the US flag.  That's me criticizing the state; and I should not end up killed for it.

2. really push the envelope, like insult the Prophet (pbuh) or burn the Quran or something like that.
It's fine to insult the prophet; I think God or Allah is very full of himself and advocates for the death penalty for some things that should be legal.  Burning the Quran is like burning the American flag (I'm an American); totally something that should be legalized as it is a victimless crime.  Any victimless activity should be legal.

@badger
I am probably the most pro 2nd amendment active person on DART.  I believe in all of the following:

1) Guns are needed for protection against criminals and a tyrannical government.
2) The banning of Semi automatic guns does not reduce the homicide rate so banning them is pointless to the goal of reducing homicide.  They are fun to shoot at targets and they are also practical in that they are more scary than a pistol, so criminals are more scared.
3) Implementing background checks does not reduce the homicide rate, so they serve no purpose except to install a false sense of safety in people.  It is never okay to trade your liberty for a false sense of saftey.
4) Machine guns should be legal to further protect against tyranny.  When they were banned, the homicide rate did not go down.
5) Every state should get rid of all their useless gun restrictions, including an assault weapon ban, background checks, and probably open carry as well.

@Yassine
You mean apostasy laws & blasphemy laws In Europe?
I think RM and I both are referring to censorship in the Quran.  In America, there is not a single person in jail for political speech.  In western countries other than the US, free speech is more restricted, but generally freer than the Islamic world I think.  The west is the most pro free speech civilization in the world.  In Islam, I heard the penalty for disbelieving in God was death.  In the EU on the other hand, there is not a single crime that is punishable by death.  I understand putting someone for death for murder or rape (this isn't my belief, but it is a belief I understand).  The Quran doesn't stop with the death penalty there.

The Quran advocates for killing atheists.  Bukhari[52:260] "...The Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.' ".  This is why you see many Muslim countries killing people for being atheists.

a rape requires 3 male witnesses in order to be declared as valid in most Sharia nations
Are these witnesses easy to come by?  If a woman gets raped in the streets, there will be so many witnesses available that can testify against the rapist.

It’s like saying, “How can we end communism once and for all of we don’t censor communists?”.  I don’t have a problem with communists or haters of African Americans existing as long as none of them come to power.  If they come to power, just don’t vote for them.

Common throughout history in general.  Abortion rights historically were just a given because of the frequency of them.  Birth control is the only reason why pro lifers exist; because without it, abortion rates were so high anyone wanting to ban them would have a hard time getting elected.

I am a non-theist and I think the death penalty is appropriate in our day and age.  If we were to put to death all of those who are mass murderers.
The issue isn't killing people for being mass murderers.  The issue is killing people for things they aren't responsible for, like when God killed the first born sons of Egypt as a penalty for their fathers enslaving Jews.  If someone commits a mass murder, you don't punish their sons for it legally; you only punish the murderer.

If it were to be that, people can have their opinions, but if there entire account is based off racist views and they do nothing besides say racist views, they would need to stop doing such.
It's their right to say racist views.

There's a keen difference between abortion is murder and saying black people are dumb [explicative derogatory term]. One is directly attacking people and one is a philosophy.
If someone dehumanizes a black person by claiming they aren't human, would you ban this?  If someone said that a fetus wasn't human, would you ban this?  Your allowed to dehumanize whomever you want by mere rhetoric.

I don't think I've seen anyone get banned over their belief
People have gotten banned for reasons the mods don't say, but people probably don't get banned solely for their belief.   It is against the code of conduct to advocate for racist or anti sematic views I think and I think people should be allowed to do that.

My plan is general would fix the durations of ban lengths, not what gets banned.
How would you "fix" ban lengths?  Would you make them longer or shorter and why?

(Ads) costs money do so and for the most part this site runs off the owners money and adding more expenses would cause the site to go downhill. I'd wait til the funds became more available
I think the ads bring in more revenue to DART than they cost to implement.  Then the owner doesn't have to spend out of his own pocket to create DART.  It also allows more people to be hired to make the site better in terms of more features at a faster rate.

@Vader
Not only am I the most active member on the site by statistics
I fail to see the relevance.  Biden wasn't the most active person politically, yet he was still president.  Activists are well, politically active.

I prefer to never give perma bans unless they are truly deserved (which most are), but I also will push to reform bans and such.
How would you reform bans?  Would you ban someone for saying the N word for instance or for advocating racist views?  Would you ban someone for advocating for conservative views?  If you advocate for banning someone for racist views and not banning someone for stating conservative views, what is the difference?  A racist view is offensive, but a conservative view can also be offensive.  For instance, if a conservative says, "Abortion is murder" this may be viewed as offensive to a female who has had an abortion.  It also may be viewed as "hate speech" towards that female.

In my view, the only reason why people who advocate for banning racists also don't advocate for banning conservatives is because conservatives are more common than racists.  I don't think frequency in a population is relevant as to whether or not they should be banned.  I could argue that any controversial topic could be viewed as, "hate speech" towards a group.

You advocate for an abortion ban?  Hate speech towards women.  You advocate for abortion being legal?  Hate speech towards the unborn.  You advocate for more gun rights?  Hate speech towards school shooting survivors.  You advocate for more gun control?  Hate speech towards gun owners.

I could argue that any political idea is hate speech towards a group and that's what makes it controversial.  Therefore, since I don't believe one should be banned for their opinion on abortion or gun rights, I also don't think racists should be banned either from this site.

I have had actual success doing so, as the whole process of RO's was fixed by me and a whole system called the Supa RO System was created and invented by me.
I am unfamiliar with this.

Overall you want someone who is personable and can talk with anyone to be a President and that's why I should be president.
You are probably the most personable person on this site and this is a good thing.  However, you judge a politician by their policies.  My policies are:

1) I want to allow for all political ideologies to be allowed on DART.
2) I want to get DART ads so DART has funds to improve the site more.
