I meant the link. History of abortion - Wikipedia states that abortion has been common throughout history. This doesn't justify the practice, but in order for someone to get an abortion, they had to have had recreational sex (with few exceptions).

Trying to undermine the site's currency is treason.
Wylted bucks are not this site's currency. Credits in green are the closest thing to this site's currency, and even that you can't give to other users.
Treason makes you bv ineligible to run for office.
Me denouncing the value of Wylted bucks is about as treasonous as a politician denouncing crypto currency. It's totally fine.

The sexual revolution of the 60s brought contraception that made people more willing to have sex. Sex outside of marriage has always been a thing and Bible hasn’t condemned it to the best of my knowledge. I would prefer it if people waited until marriage, but that will not happen.

Source for this? Even during biblical times, men had wives and columbines. There is not a single bible verse condemning premarital sex that I'm aware of(and I've checked). It's good to do, but unless the Bible mandates it, people weren't going to do it back in the day when abortion was even less stigmatized than it is now (since it was more common per 1000 people).

I, for one, would never confuse anarchy with freedom. Freedom comes from the preservation of rights and to a large degree, good governments are the instruments of that preservation.
A government takes your rights. Sometimes this is justified, like with banning rape or murder, but it is still the government taking your right just like if they wanted to ban everything else.

I think this proportion is too high; there have only been 55 million abortions in the US since Roe V Wade was established. If every woman who had an abortion had only one abortion, then this would mean roughly 1/3 females in the US had an abortion. This is assuming nobody that had an abortion died of old age and it assumes no females had more than one abortion. With both of these factors being implemented, maybe 1/7 women alive today had at least 1 abortion. Since the abortion rate is falling, people that you can date now are less likely to have gotten an abortion. I guess that around 1/10 women you can date that aren't married to anyone have had at lest 1 abortion. This is too many, but with 1/10 eligible females getting an abortion, the practice if banned can't be punished that harshly.

Promiscuity was discouraged, but people didn't take the advice. Similar to how parents tell you not to speed but next time they get in their car, they speed. People are hypocrites and you should never tell someone to do something your unwilling to do yourself. The only people that should encourage abstinence until marriage are those that don't have premarital sex themselves. I'm willing to wait until marriage. But encouraging people to do something that I know they won't do when contraception reduces abortion and STI rates more than trying to be abstinent? I'd prefer they use contraception.
