Alright I think I stated this somewhere in the DP but I'm putting Wylted and Luna together in the next DP to battle it out and we can choose who goes on. Feel like this is the best option IMO considering there really isn't a way to distinguish anything right now

Yeah I feel like that role probably puts Earth in my town pile. I can't see any scum utility to that role at all so I'm leaning town on Earth

To be quite honest, my debate knowledge is very rusty so I could be wrong. But everything in the debate that's been claimed I know for sure I've heard at some point in my debate career. I know people did do weighing but it was never so significant of a thing in policy that I needed to have it own term/name. It was never a ballot point in my debates.

Let me be more detailed.

He is pretty much the only deeply analyzing the theme and giving a fair intepretation as such. Don't think he'd doing this much as scum. I also feel like he would be focusing a lot on behavior and I think his cautious leads me to his town tell.

Yeah you are 100% right. Hence why I hated it. It was all a rhetoric battle and to be honest could be easily meta'd. If you created an argument that was so batshit absurd crazy that was in the shape of the K that no team had answers too, then that team could win. It was pure rhetoric and sources battle versus the quality of the sources and how well you actually debated. It just highlighted key points in articles that would read and how fast. I hated it and prefered the model UN way of debating as it relied you to debate in a strucutred manner without having to spread and spout random arguments

Bullish stands out because of that but that seems to obvious of a theme split IMO. I know we asked for quick claims relatively fast and he could be telling the truth. I also think his approach when he came is seemed kinda townie and honestly from the last Austin game. Still the claim is off but I think there's too little to make a genuine town/scum read 

There really isn't much behavioral reads to go off of at this point in time so don't think I can give reads, I think the only one is spreading seems like a weird claim at the moment but I want to see what everyone's claim is.

I can confirm this is my role by essentially saying in this DP which matchup I am going to lock in DP2 based on the DP today, and then if that debate happens in the round, it role confirms me (unless you think I correctly guessed a matchup of occuring as scum) and pretty likely town confirms me unless you think this is a scum flavored role

Ok yeah I am going to claim then. This may be a stupid idea but screw it. 

I am Solvency. Solvency is the most fundamental part of the debate because it can dictate the strategy of a round because you have to answer an opponents solvency. Because of that, I am the Strategist. In NP1, I can get the list of the matchups that will happen in DP2 when the debate occurs. I then can swap 2 members and force them to debate each other

I feel like in this game, the more information we have in this game, the better our outcome is going to likely be. When we lack flips and there is only 2 NP's that can have actions, I think this is a rare occasion that I think we could force mass claims. Normally everyone knows my meta and this is going against my meta, but from what I'm collecting there's only 2 phases where roles can be used. The rest comes down to behavior and such. Giving scum time to think of claims would be detrimental and we do know that role PM's did not go out til today and the DP came out right after meaning scum have not given time to give claims. I am all for it  due to the nature of this game

Correct but even if we look at the fatal crashes, only 16 crashes so far have been fatal, being an average of 8 per month (should be 0 but point still stands)

Last year there was 261 fatal crashes, which means an average of 21.75 fatal plane crashes a month. I haven’t seen any stat about the total deaths but the average is 3x less than the rate of the crashes this year

As for #9, no I’m not. I’m responding to a common criticism that cutting workers were linked to increased plane crashes based on impartial evidence I gave

The dashboard I linked shows the amount of cases reported to the NTSB on a per month basis. As we can see from the chart. January had 64 crashes versus 80 last year. 55 for Feburary versus 93 last year.

Thus there is a trend that shows that aviation accidents are on the decline despite the immediate reporting of the crashes when they happen.

Great choice of a sport. Granted I am inherently biased because of the Blackhawks success but I love hockey

1. Hockey playoffs are easily the best playoffs out of all of the Big Four sports. Major upsets, lots of passion, etc.

2. Hockey organization have to better allocate funds with a hard cap. This means big market teams don't get an unfair advantage because of it

3. The top stars in hockey tend to not leave and stay long term with teams. This promotes the draft and actually taking talent. Even if you look at the best team, like the Panthers, 80% of their talent was developed in their system. The only people they traded for were Tkachuk and Bobrovsky, and even then the Tkachuk trade was considered a major gamble because they gave up a 100+ point player in Johnny Huberdeau for a young prospect in Tkachuk and look how it played out. Teams that pay for their talent tend to fail, and fail hard.

4. Hockey players play for the love of the game and not for the financial compensation

I am personally a huge hockey fan. There are definetly some flaws but it is one of the best Big Four sports leagues

I think you are correct in the short term, but I would tend to disagree from a long term perspective. If we look at the growth of America through the early stages of the US, you can apply the same type of saying you talk about. However, when you look back to the present times and look at the 3rd and 4th generation immigrants and their values, they tend to adopt to the American mindset and blend in quite well over time. Hell you can even see it with immigrats as late as the 2000s to a certain extent. It just takes time to adjust

The issue with illegal immigration is that there is a lot of illegal immigrants that do come to America and work hard to provide a life more themselves. However we can't deny that some of the liberal cities are harboring criminals that are illegal and have violent crimes. Why do you think cities don't require voting ID's and are shoving them into blue cities? To inflate the population and push more Dem voters. Dems are so eager to call out crimes on white conservatives and other people who legally enter, but refuse to call out anything when it doesn't benefit their agenda?

I do believe that we should make the path toward immigration easier. I can admit that America citizens are trending more and more toward white collar jobs rather than the blue collared jobs and trades. There are currently shortages that CAN NOT be filled with the 3rd or 4th generation immigrants. The path to citizenship should be much easier than what it is so that we have a constant cycle of immigrants doing the blue collared jobs and then having their children go about turning into white collar workers. That is the optimal way of America that has been shared for a while.

Despite how I may feel about FDR's policies as a whole, there is no question that FDR was dealing with the worse situation going into a presidency. A huge problem like this needed creative solutions. Thus a lot of the policies that FDR created where based on the situation that he walked into and what he needed to do to pull us out of the situation. However, despite his policies that he enacted helping, nothing was more helpful than getting America into the war. Still, he did a lot to fix a country that was essentially in disarray and worked hard to build up the economy stronger. I think he was one of the best situational president since Abe Lincoln to enter the office and probably in my top 5 of presidents all time. If I am ranking, he is probably around 4-5

The problem with congestion pricing is that it's too idealistic of an approach and only panders to the elitist wealthy that can afford to pay a congestion price. No one thinks about the effects it is going to have on local businesses. Corporations are suppliers were certainly going to raise the prices on their items for NYC travel in a city that's already highly inflated. It will ultimately just inflate prices more and cause consumers more pain. The people who support this proponent say to just take the subway system fail to realize that the city has failed to guarantee the safety of its regular people on subways due to the dangerous criminals residing in the subway system. Forcing middle to lower class people to go into the subways is an elitist attitude that panders to the wealthy. There are more effective ways to go about battling enviornmental issues without hurting the middle class. For one, free transit would be a start. If you are so desperate to get people to take a train or subway, how about you make admissions to the subway free? How about you clean the subway system to ensure that people are safe while riding the subway. This is just another way for a corrupt city to generate more income rather than fix actual problems in our world
