The difference is, I can't be lynched today.

I'm tempted to switch to speed just out of embarrassment for everyone shitting on water.

I'm not saying sub optimal players don't exist or players don't make sub optimal plays.
But sub optimal plays are equivalent to random plays and are unpredictable; you can't account for them ahead of time.
All you can do is expect that other players are going to play to the best of their ability. If your team gets fucjed because of mistakes, well, that's the risk of playing a team game.

@Speedrace
In any game the only reasonable expectation is that people play to their wincon in an optimal matter.

I literally applied it just last game. I assumed he was scum rather than being dumb.

Hell, if it's more than 33% scum and you have nothing better, lynch them.
Created:

@whiteflame
Excluding all possibilities that someone is town in order to treat them as scum is not a reasonable standard and not one that I go by. If it's 50.1% that someone is scum and 49.9% that they're town, you lynch them.

Water has been playing long enough that we can stop with the "He's not scum, he's just stupid!" Excuses.

@whiteflame
I don't see town redirecting someone to croc. I do see scum redirect someone to croc.
Created:

@whiteflame
If he was town and was suspicious of Pie, he should have redirected pie onto himself.
Created:
Posted in:

@whiteflame
Big is fairly uncommon, I don't believe the redirect was don't expecting it to be a kill, rather an investigative role of some sort, in which case it makes perfect sense to redirect from a maf to a townie. He's town, so he investigates innocent. He's non visiting. He's not likely to be directly targeted by anyone. So putting cops, trackers, and watchers on croc is ideal for maf. He's the perfect dumping ground.

@WaterPhoenix
What about pie going after speed in the day made you want to redirect him to croc?
Created:
Posted in:
-->
@whiteflame
He selected pie because he felt pie was going to target speed. So yes he was protecting speed. He redirected pie from speed to croc who was most likely a townie.
Created:
Posted in:

@WaterPhoenix
Because the only reason to redirect someone away from Speed is if you're scum trying to screw with town and or trying to protect him from town investigation.

@ILikePie5
What part of it doesn’t make sense to you. And I’m not lynching Drafter over Water. That’s just retarded when we have a claimed redirector which is a scummy af role
One or both of Water or Speed is scum. Redirector is often a scum role, so I'm happy to go with water first. VTL water
And don't worry about me getting lynched. I'm not getting lynched today.
Created:

@whiteflame
It's not a "fuck you." You press for claims when you have nothing else to go on or nothing else to do. Do you really think we have no actionable information?
I see Water's claim and I don't see that it exonerate's Speed. Speed's entire defense was:
"Also mafia can't direct someone "off" of someone. If they redirected you, they wouldn't have known you were targeting me"
Which is undercut by Water choosing do redirect exactly because he suspected that Pie would target Speed.
Did Water directed Pie away from Speed because water believes Pie to be scum and Speed to be town, or did Water do it because he's scum buddies with Speed and suspected Pie of being an investigative role?
I think it's clear that among this group we have a high likelihood of getting scum.
So explain to me why were aren't prying into that and instead wasting times with this popcorn claim bs which certainly didn't help the last time we tried it.

Let me put it this way. I'm not Mikal and I'm supremely unconcerned about getting lynched.

@whiteflame
I didn't catch that, I have read the last couple pages.
I'm still not claiming though
Created:

@whiteflame
I just gave two reasons why:
We already have scum and there is no value to claiming.
I'm not claiming. We lynch speed and move on.
Created:
Posted in:
Why are we doing a mass claim when a. We have scum and b. There's no point to it?
If justifications are weak, then that reduces the value of claims.
I'm not claiming.

If anyone targeted croc and wasn't notified of a redirect, speak up.

@Speedrace
There are easy ways to solve the bus driver argument. Firstly, allow me to remind everyone that if this is proven to be a redirector, and not a bus driver, then I am not incriminated because there is no way for a redirector to have known who Pie's original target was.
Ok. that doesn't "solve" the bus driver argument. It just semi-absolves you if it is proven to be a redirector.
If anyone else targeted Croc or me and wasn't given a redirected notification, then it's impossible for it to be a bus driver.
I don't believe anyone has said so, yet. So you're out of luck on this point.
Also, why would I bus drive with Croc as scum?
Because you were FOS'd by many people and Croc is heavily assumed to be Town. As scum, you would want to redirect any investigative roles from you onto a Townie.
That risks bringing any possible actions originally on him onto me, which only hurts me.
It's objectively helpful for maf to bus actions away from themselves onto Townies.
The arg that I used a bus driver on myself therefore assumes that I knew I would be vig'd, but how would I know that as scum?
It does not assume you knew there would be a vig.
Plus even if I somehow did know I would be vig'd, why would I redirect that onto Croc knowing he would be an eventual mislynch? It makes no sense
No one is saying it was done knowing there was a vig. Also, no one has accused you directly of being a bus driver, just that there is a bus driver. This post hints at hidden knoweldge.
VTL Speed.

@Dr.Franklin
Statistically speaking, there is certainly a non-zero chance there was at least one fraudulent vote. The challenge is to determine exactly when and where any fraud occurred, by whom, and what the appropriate remediation should be.
Simply waving your hands in the air screaming "FRAUD" and demanding courts unilaterally overturn the election in favor of one candidate isn't the way to go about this.

@fauxlaw
And who says they are baseless conspiracies? You? Does a laugh track come with that?
The fact that you've provided no base for them. That is what makes them baseless: by not having a basis in fact.
Who is Kammie Harris?The alternate idiot running with Hidin' Biden
That's not her name.
Is it a conspiracy theory that 17 states have joined the Texas v GA/GA/MI/WI lawsuit, including PA?
That's literally what a conspiracy is. And no, PA has not joined in the lawsuit against itself. The 17 states that have joined with Texas are: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah and West Virginia.
And this lawsuit is not about your so-called conspiracy theories.
Yes it is:
- It references the conspiracy about mail voter fraud ("States have astrong interest in safeguarding against fraud invoting by mail during Presidential elections"; the entireties of Sections II and III);
- It references the conspiracy about illegal votes being cast and counted ("'Everyvoter' in a federal election, 'has a right under theConstitution to have his vote fairly counted, withoutits being distorted by fraudulently cast votes.'");
It's about states changing their voting rules without the proper changes through legislation. Neither governors nor secty's of state are part of their state legislatures.
The offices of the Department of State and any election boards are created either through the states' constitution or through some statute which defines their powers and responsibilities. This may or may not give them such leeway as to have made the changes they made. This would require careful analysis of the respective statutes in each state and the specific actions. Point being: it is not as simple as saying: "they did something without going through the legislature, ergo it's wrong."
What's curious is why said states waited until after the election to bring the suit and why the suit is not being brought against any other state that performed similarly.
In any event, this would be an internal matter to be taken up by that state, not by other states throwing a hissy fit because they lost.

@fauxlaw
Yes, I erred. Different results,
You haven't erred as much as you have willingly spread misinformation.
but my argument still stands.
Well, since your argument is based upon baseless conspiracies, it doesn't stand.
You should have been around in January of 1610 when Galileo announced the heresy that Jupiter's moons had the audacity to orbit Jupiter instead of Earth. The Church, then the Second Estate, and, for the masses, virtually the First Estate, threw Galileo into house arrest for his audacity to belittle Earth. Oops. The Church's authority, notwithstanding, was pitifully in error. An honest, unbiased investigation will find the same in the 2020 vote. The recounts were not that.Bottom line, you have the freedom of your beliefs. You've no proof that these so-called voting events did not happen.
Some of them have been actively debunked, yes.
Not to mention that, when it all shakes out, Joe Biden is not your President. He's already caving to the idea that it will be Kammie Harris. He even said it during the campaign. At least twice. Oh, boy, won't that be a laugh a second
Who is Kammie Harris? I'm not aware of anyone by that name on the ticket.

I'm not saying votes can't be contingent, I'm saying that if you were voting Speed because of the discord stuff, then you weren't voting him for a claim because there is no claim that invalidates the discord claim. But if you deny the discord stuff, then I retract my statement.
