When I was 6, I began playing piano. Piano sounds normal, and what writes a C sounds like a C.
After going into middle school, the band teacher decided that I was good with Trumpet. The kind of trumpet I have played(so did most people) were keyed Bb, meaning if I blow into the instrument with the fingering they told me corresponds to the note C, it would rather sound like a Bb. At first nobody knew what I did, and I always read my piece as if it is written for piano, note to score. In the end of the first year, I have learned to play the piece I am supposed to play two semitones than what it is intended.
So I began to completely disregard my scores. I merely looked at it and said, “oh, I start at the first section, stop at the second, etc. and left it in the folder for the rest of the semester. Instead I looked up recordings of that song and at the end it turned out good enough for the recital.
Yep, I learned to play an entire piece by recordings alone because the music scores look strange. In fact if you give me a trumpet piece now, I would probably tell you that this piece is keyed wrongly.
I wanted to start a topic saying “All instruments in an orchestra should be in the same key” and the only thing stopping it would probably be an appeal to tradition.

You have Mercedes out in front claiming nearly every race, then you have Renault on the midfield doing pretty good, and you have Williams struggling to get a single point. This hierarchy is determined by capitalism, because the better team gets more money than the worse team. The better you are, the more money you have, the better you can be, vice versa. Hierarchy exists and an occasional “proletariat hero” is extremely rare.
There are pay drivers. For those back markers they need money, and hiring one rich dude who can barely drive means saving their company. It became determined that how “good” you are is determined by your car, not yourselves. Lando Norris is here getting podiums and his colleague who performed better than him in 2018 in F2 is struggling to get any points at all, because the former got a good car and the latter got the worst.
In F2 all cars are equal(same brand, same engine) and there you can find the better driver. The better driver is better regardless of how bad the car is. We have examples upon examples for F2 talents getting shitboxes then decide to leave because they are treated unfairly.

The goal of this abomination they call a movement is to make as little nut as possible. This, however is impossible, as that nuts are a very special type of food, essential to many, and enjoyable for more. Seeing how widespread the internet is, the Union of Nut Workers within this country have decided to quit and reclaim the means of production of nut-related products in December 1st, 2020. This is extremely critical as nut-related products are into the essential production of thousands, or even millions of companies within this world. It is being predicted that after November 15th, 50% of the functioning bodies of the economy would no longer function until December 5th, 2022, due to that the lack of nut-related products would stall the production of other companies, causing those companies which supplies other essential companies to be utterly bankrupt. The recovery needed would be long.
It is seen for the very first time that reactions this widespread is upon the society when a single joke about nuts is said in theparty. One teenager named “Deez Nuts” ran for the president(And I hope he would again, seeing how stupid this one is) in 2016, but the essentials of the world have only passed it as a joke until this year. The Proletariat movement isreal, and it probably should not be. This would be equivalent of the revolution of 50% of the population all believing the plagued socialism within this world in 1500, all caused by a single light-hearted joke. Short answer: We are doomed. Even if you have military bunkers under your flags you would at least not being fed with peanuts unless they are stale in your storage possibly stank with body fluids. Pew Research Center have recently claimed that 1 person supports Centre-anticentrism. That is a monumental achievement for thistotally-compatible ideology for the world to use! On that 1,000,000 dollars are spent on behalf of the opposing parties, authoritarian or libertarian, left orright, the 1 loyal supporter of Centre-anticentrism remained loyal and have built his government in the town. Rapping Quality is Dropping Drastically

Rap is the music for those who can’t sing. For an obviously inferior form of art compared to normal music, it is normal for it to drop drastically in quality. However, we must also look at HOW it is dropping qualities because we should be able to get some laughs watching people whodon’t listen repeatedly trip their feet on thin air.
Let’s not just compare the contemporary raps with ones in the golden age(in which there is no rap at all, so golden!), but with those 20-30years ago in the 1990s. A good example of rap in the 1990s is this song. I wouldn't need to recite the title for you to know which song I am talking about. Such a classic!

Intelligence_06, the central figure of yesterday's article, have claimed that figures are purely fabricated due to that there is "No one" named Trum Porter and similar claims, thus claiming a completely separate individual of fraud.
Investigations found that there are 270,000 people named Trum Porter in just the state of [REDACTED], thus rendering Intelligence's claim false. SirAnonymous is a law-abiding citizen living in the state of [REDACTED], and he is involved in no crimes. We used to strive to develop a means of aviation in which after it became the technology known as planes, the whole thing is to make a wood plank(or a bar of steel, etc) to upwards from thin air. Yes, we have them.
Now, we have land structures expanding thousands of acres just for these. We have planes, made by people, for the people, controlled by people. We have tens of thousands of airports in use, for just these machines. We have special facilities for those, and we even have them fitted in missiles and gun pellets to use in war.
That is just one. We used to develop a way so wheels on the bus can go round and round itself. We do, and it is called "cars". Nowadays, there are roads everywhere. Cars, they are, everywhere. It is baffling of how widespread some of the technologies are. Just that lots upon lots upon lots of technology is made relevant just to be in advision of one extremely simple concept.

For a bird, to cross the Pacific with a single branch within its mouth --- What kind of obscure IQ can make up this story? I have no idea how strong and magical is the bird beloging to the prompt-giving teacher. For a normal person I must be skeptical about this topic. I don't care personally, about how a bird with a branch in its mouth would deal with its mate; I don't care personally, about how a bird that doesn't swim can merely using a branch as a step to catch fishes with; I also don't care personally, about whether if the waves in the ocean will flip the branch or anything. I just want to ask you all one question:
How big must the branch be to support a bird afloat on the water? How big? As thin as a metal wire? As thick as a chopstick?

Atheists, stop nitpicking the bible ridiculously; theists, stop interpreting the Bible so literally.
I did the coronavirus test in the nearby clinic. As I am not in the country that my passport is registered in, I would need to send my results to the embassy and wait for the result. That being said, it is a difficult journey. I have not been active for full hours one because of sleep but also because of days of traveling in 1-hr trips between my house and the clinic.
The embassy has a "rule", in which the coronavirus test must be submitted there within 12 hours of the result being undisclosed. My parents got it with an easy procedure, but I would have to have something more difficult in order to just get my result.
When I am back, it is already over 12 hours since the result is clear. I tried to submit the result out of desperation, and the embassy verified the result despite it is outside of the 12 hour range.
What does this tell us? Rules sometimes just make you better, it is not 100% black and white.
For example, the Bible tell us to not have sex before marriage, not watch pornography, and not commit adultery. With common sense, of course, you could do those, but they could potentially make you less loyal in a commited relationship, which makes you a less trustworthy person.
For another example, the Bible tells us not to eat shrimp or pork, but that is just because they have yet to have a procedure to make them as clean as other kinds of food, and since the Bible is basically an engraved book, it could not live long enough to see when the FDA can make pork and shrimp as healthy and clean. In other words, at the time the bible is written, those foods are unclean, which, if you eat it, will make you sick, thus live a subpar life.
Another example is that swearing or insulting is bad. It is? Yes, but saying "fuck" one time probably won't land you in hell immediately. The more you swear, the harder it is to people to approach you in a polite manner, which would mean you will live a life without companions. There are rationalities of All things in Theism, some of them outdated, but all of them could be considered at the time they were written with at least an indirect reason.
So BrotherDT, stop interpreting the Bible so literally that when we just eat a kind of food we would go to hell.

The theory of relativity states: Everything is relative.
So relatively, something could be true and something could be false. Could be seen as true or false depending on the perspective.
Then think: if everything is relative, then the statement "everything is relative" is also relative, meaning it could be false at some point at some perspective, but how could that be?
Conclusion: There must be at least one objective thing. "Everything is relative" is the only objective statement. If more exact, perhaps I should say "Everything is relative, except for this statement".
I am 14 and this is deep. Not that kind of deep, this kind of deep. Wait, deep is relative and it is not the statement, so it could be shallow seen from someone else because everything humans have set up are basically relative and non-objective.

People are voting for Biden for the sole purpose that Trump deserves not a second term. People literally believe that voting for 3rd party = voting for trump because it is pulling away the biden votes but when asked who the best possible candidate is, their answer is someone that is non-trump and non-biden.

There is something called the NAP.
No...no. Not where you sleep in the middle of the afternoon. It is the Non-aggression policy. The NAP has a philosophy similar to that of traditional religion: If I like something or dislike something, I shouldn't project the idea with force upon another. If I like this thing, I, nevertheless, shouldn't force other people to like it regardless of that they like it or not.
Keeping the idea of the choice of keeping the baby to herself is both pro-life and pro-choice. Such women on such issue would sound like this.
"Yeah, I feel it is a right to women. Like women should be able to choose if they abort the baby or not. Others could easily abort. Me? I won't. My baby means a lot to me and I will probably not abort her, but I respect those who really want an abortion and I believe they have the chance to do it, as well as not do it, just like me right now."
I mean, Pro-life vs pro-choice isn't really pro-abortion and anti-abortion. Being both pro-life and pro-choice means valuing life, but at the same time not shoving your idea up of someone's stomach. It is possible to be both, and being both is not half bad.

If I do equally as many things as the theist when we both are working, and I am helping the needy when the theist is praying with seemingly no effect, why does he get to go to heaven and I don't?
If Pascal's wager is a sound theory then God is a total jerk. No matter how much good I do to humanity, as long I trust myself to do everything, I go to hell. Isn't this just like Authoritarian Communism? Good things good done, but you criticize me and the punishment is equally as bad as the slacker on the hay.
I can do good things and I can help more people on sundays than the average theist because they don't work on sundays. Having the mentality of helping everything is not bad, or is it?

Embrace the site that is originally planned to be the sole successor of DDO, and then attracted users that would want to have nothing to do with it, even throwing a grudge when mentioning it. Embrace the site that despite working the same as DDO, the ads are replaced by debate flairs that no one would bother clicking on them anyways, even so, afraid of commenting whatsoever. In front of us is probably a person too smart to argue with their friends and too dumb to get an actual life, too smart for learning but too dumb to get an A on their tests. The site introduces an online world where competitive users had to either list thousands of top secret files begged from the government or to exploit the resolution enough its mutated form can hardly be considered of any kind of fun at all, or to cry in their bed because they aren't successful at anything they have tried. This is a place in which despite being a serious debating site, 0% of the share of this site is actually ran by a professional debater, and where the most vocal members of the discussion pages are either being criticized for being neutral, or being criticized for picking a side, or are criticizing others for those same reasons.
On the top of the leaderboards we have someone claiming to live in Antarctica to avoid face-to-face discourse, a debater that has left and briefly came back to post on maybe two threads, an active moderator, a libertarian teenager who likes to write his arguments like his infographics, and someone who has short outbursts of happiness and rage, hiatuses in between, and nevertheless remains the most contribution member overall on this site. Also, on the leaderboard that probably no one cares about, we have a teenager who posts daily about just anything.
Seriously, he wants to be a mod.
Back to the site. On this site it is anything but a rare occasion that troll topics are argued more thoroughly than serious topics, and where debaters that can actually write usable arguments are placed below the users that has no profile and forfeits everything they accepted the first day. Don't forfeit, guys.
On the forums, there are Three approaches to politics by basically all users: Determine whether Trump is good or bad, the Political compass, and apoliticism completely.
So, be prepared to appear on the site and have more experienced debaters to crush you into pieces and <maybe> learn how to debate without being discouraged and go back to Reddit and Youtube, because you can at least fight for a Top 10 position out of all things(because the "King of the hill" medal is as impossible to get as retreiving a needle in space). Be prepared for some forum posters utterly destroy your worldview, then having someone support you when you are logically confused. Be prepared to enter a course for semantical English because who cares if you lose conduct, Arguments is a 3 point deal. Be prepared for someone either conceding when they have the chance of stealing the win or argue for the utterly insane because they don't want to lose. Be prepared to accept an acceptable topic, then having the instigator wandering on the forums and forfeit all 3 rounds and handing you perhaps the emptiest win ever on Earth.
But at the end of the day we still love Mafia as usual.

As that I am a pretty chill person, I don’t start arguments unless the controversial topic greatly affects the world. The last time was a few months ago. I want know how normal people argue, as well as all these questions:
What count as sources in a verbal debate, and how does its justification operate?
Why that logic rarely works on normal arguments with people?
Suppose you are a good debater on DART, then does that mean you will do better in verbal debating? Why or why not?
Can you win against one person of your family in an ordinary argument? Why or why not?
Why is that people often use Ad hominem as the dominant strategy in their arguments?

I have seen this quote on one of my friend's social media profile pictures. Given that we are close friends, I see this quote every day I open the software. The more I think about it, the more I think it is false.
Let's say I am a basketball player. I try to shoot 10 times and it goes in 7 times. My accuracy of shots would be 7/10, or 70%, OR 0.7.
Let's say there is a much more qualified player and shoots all 10 in. His shot accuracy would be 10/10, meaning 100% and 1.0.
Now, you shoot 0 and you have 0 going in. What would that be? 0/0. We all know that is undefined. according to the saying itself, 1-100%=0 so this is saying 0/0 is 0.
This saying is false. alright.

From the 80s and earlier, cars are considered a luxury, and motorsport is an alien term to most of the Chinese population. Chinese cars are just there for exhibition, with its reliability inferior to the Japanese, American and German counterparts.
From the 90s and on, the Chinese automotive industry was dominated by Geely, if there is any domestic sales. Geely once had an era in which they sold zero cars in an entire year and when they had a premiere party, only one person came.
Now what is Geely doing? Oh, just cooperating with Volvo and winning World Touring Car Championships.
From the 90s to now the Chinese car's quality has multiplied for a large amount of times. From having no one buying domestic cars to winning motorsports championships, it sure is a long way.
Any ideas of what the future of the Chinese automotive industry will look like?

Suppose a Christian or Jewish worker got called to do work on Sunday. Is he excused to NOT go there?
Within the commandments of the Old Testament, one states that Remember the Sabbath day, and Not do Any work on said day. However, if work on Sunday can literally save lives, then should he do said work? More than that, if said work is to just save lives, does it count as work, and are you allowed to do it on Sunday?
