yes I was baiting the night kill, I knew town would lose their minds about three vanillas. That's why I clarified the way I did about that not being the reason I suspected owen. My bad on faking the results, but I was convinced he was the last scum. Joebob was my second guess if I was wrong, but I didnt think I was. I was reading into the liked posts way too much. Any post that incriminated owen had a like on it, so I thought pie was sending a message to us.

I would have liked whiteflames thoughts and comments before you hammered. I hope town remembers that. Not to say Casey is confirmed scum but damn

I don’t wanna to explain this too much for obvious reasons, but assuming Whiteflame and moozer are town, going into np2 with a bodyguard, watcher and a justice should almost guarantee a scum lynch tomorrow if we use our roles smartly. This is even considering there is a roleblocker (though no one has claimed to be blocked so I have no reason to believe one exists).

To be clear I am not suspicious of Owen for the CC of the vanilla. Multiple vanillas existing in a game is not a CC in my eyes. Though I do agree with Whiteflame in hindsight the comment about his role being wierd is a bit confusing if he is indeed a vanilla.

I guess I can full claim since I’m the last one but I wanted to get a result before outting. But oh well. I am 476 AD. Paraphrase: basically after years of invasions resulting is the city being sacked multiple times, a falling economy, and many deposed and murdered rulers, western Rome fell. While Eastern Rome watched these events unfold from a distance without doing much, life in Eastern Rome largely continued as normal after this. This is why I am a watcher. NP1 I chose to watch Whiteflame because I figured he would be a likely visit since he is generally a more active player and might pose a threat to mafia if town. I was surprised he wasn’t visited which is partially why I was suspicious of him going into dp2.

However now I do believe his claim, as fake claiming that would be suicide at this stage in the game and it almost 100% implicates supa as scum. It makes sense now to me why Whiteflame was so dead set about supa early on this phase.

So what from here? Well since I have been calling out loudly about supa buddying his team mate he likely tried to include his scum mate in his scum reads. I don’t think it’s joebob though knowing if he is lying that joebob isn’t implicated by him therefor making joebob likely town. Also based on interactions it probably makes Casey town. I’m guessing supa put Owen as his slight scum read though to place some distance between them but largely these two haven’t really interacted much. I am thinking OwenT is probably his scum mate at this point. 

I may be overthinking his potential to bus and maybe Casey and him bussed each other but I kind of doubt it. But we can worry about that next day phase I guess right now my top scum read for his partner is OwenT.

Actually I was only being asked for a range if I remember correctly and everyone was giving ranges I gave my full date.

The last two scum games supa was in that I remember was invincible mafia with pie where he hard buddies him the whole time, and in chess mafia with me where he buddied me multiple times

I’m not insanely focused on theme atm, I’m trying to look into behavior more than usual. Also as I mentioned earlier it is really wierd to me that supa was not on the wylted vote. Scum would have had every incentive to be on that lynch and could easily justify and defend being on it, and I know supa is very responsive via discord so if he had a mafia partner pinging him to vote I feel he would have voted. 

Maybe I’m not understanding the slip, but didn’t you initially ask him for a date range? A date range not being the exact same as the date in his claim stands to reason. But also supa makes mistakes as town as you seen in the last game and he over acknowledged the hell out of it and was like blaming the loss of the game on himself last game and he is acknowledging making some mistake here it seems to resemble his behavior from last game. Also my opinion of supa has drastically improved over the years especially after playing scum with him in chess mafia. Supa isn’t the same player .

Like I said before it’s based on his interaction with Casey. Supa tends to buddy his scum partners so as scum it’s unlikely he would be bussing Casey and I find Casey to be likely scum. This can be revisited if I end up changing how I feel about Casey later on but I don’t think they are the same affiliation 

I gotta say whiteflames interactions with Casey don’t line up with his read on him to me. The more I think about the interaction the more it seems kind of faked to distance themselves. Whiteflame has a back and forth with him calling him out for his moozer push, Casey kind of immediately backs off and all of a sudden that interaction is over. That and the Vader scum read is pinging me about Whiteflame. Partially because I think Vader seems incredibly townie and I feel like me and whiteflame as both town are usually in line more in thought than we are now. I also feel like he is investing a lot into theme analaysis which I just don’t really get. The idea that supa messed up fake claiming seems less likely from him than supa messing up as town, as mafia he would be a lot more careful I think and supa is always freely admitting and taking responsibility for mistakes as town (almost too much sometimes like last game he kept blaming himself for some mistake instead of pressing the fact that whiteflame and pie were pushing it too hard, and freely admitting he lost town the game etc). This is also why supa feels town to me though. Whiteflame pushing him but seeming not so interested in Casey is pinging my radar a bit, also I don’t see him using a lot of night kill analysis. The heavy theme research in the dates seems like mafia homework a bit as well, tbh I don’t really see all this as super helpful to town whereas mafia would be guessing at roles. Moving whiteflame a bit higher on my scum list.

I don’t expect you to really respond to being in my POE lists, it’s kind of baseless and based on gut feeling and my natural skepticism of you.

However I am interested your thoughts on Casey as a whole, your thoughts on whether both scum were on the lynch, and your thoughts on two killing roles with Vader and Joebob.

You know what? I don’t want to dismiss joebob here either. Now that I think about it Vader kind of counter claims him since he has the potential to kill a mafia player by guarding correctly. Would earth put two killing roles in like that?

You know what? I’m gonna give town cred to moozer and Vader actually for not being on the wylted mislynch. It was too easy a mislynch to be a part of for mafia not to be on it. I know Vader was relatively inactive like myself but both of us are responsive to discord messages and I’m pretty sure Vader would have happily boarded that lynch if scum. Same logic applies to moozer but more so for Vader.

My gut is kind of hinting to me Whiteflame could be scum with either Casey or OwenT.

Three most likely scum scenarios for me atm are:

Casey, whiteflame

Casey, OwenT

Whiteflame, Owen.

My only problem with Casey and Whiteflame is I would have to believe the argument between them about moozer was faked, and Whiteflame is definitely clever enough to do that. Casey did kind of back off it fast though, possibly under advisement from Whiteflame that it would look too scummy to be pushing moozer so hard.

Okay I am caught up. I have no useful results. 

I want to pursue a little wifom, as this was something I was just mentioning in the mafia pm of my last game I hosted, is that people rarely look into night kill analysis, when it is a very useful tool. Generally people who are killed np1 are killed for a reason. Sometimes it's as simple as "That person scum read me" and sometimes its as simple as "I have a lot of respect for this player and they could catch me". More often, its because they are suspected of having a strong power role. 

As a mafia host, less often do I see the analysis, if ever, used by mafia that a night kill is used to cause confusion. In one of pie's posts he asked us to analyze a few of the people in his null list and scum read list in post 138, so I will do him that honor. His null list was me, casey and owen, his scum list wylted and vader. I know I am town, so obviously I am removing myself from this list, wylted is scum, so I'll remove him from this list. I think it is very likely that one of the three remaining people is scum possibly both, though its just as likely there is one scum in his town pile as well. But based on pie being killed, I see casey fitting into literally all three of those categories. Casey I have seen in mafia pm's show a lot of admiration and respect towards pie, especially after their first game with pie where they won. The next time she was mafia she was mentioning pie being a threat multiple times in the mafia pm in the game I hosted with her and whiteflame as scum (villains mafia I believe). That combined with being on pies suspect list, puts casey as my number one lynch option right now. Also casey's play has felt very "lynch and information hungry" to me especially in pursuing inactives like myself and wylted. She was fully on board with lynching me, and even after I claimed my character was the only one saying I should have full claimed and never responded to why when I asked her. She was on board the wylted traini just as hard, (I know others were too), but she also was super aggressive this day phase with moozer's lack of using the night action. I think we can all agree that not using moozers night action was dumb, but moozer is a pretty inexperienced player, and it seems a bit oppertunistic of her to jump on this, only to fall back after recieving a little bit of back lash from whiteflame.

So casey right now is my number one lynch target.

Second place goes to Owen, who has also been apart of the same lynch wagons as casey, seems indifferent in the pursuit of acquiring any actual information, but has been relatively careless with his vote. Owen's play seems confident in his activity to carry him, since hes online to vote when needed, but doesn't really seem to care whose being voted for and just seems happy to achieve any lynch. Was willing to full lynch me last day phase, and obviously was also on the wylted train. This behavior is very resemblant of his mafia play in villains mafia, just taking advantage of an inactive town and voting easy votes that are justifiable with logic like "oh this person wasn't active, you can't blame me for being apart of this one!". Just as in that game, owen was apart of every mislynch, I wouldn't be surprised to see that being the case here. I want to say town owen would put in more care in his lynching habits than this.

Supa i'll consider as well, but ill place him lower on the list priority list for now as he has claimed, and so far seems to be the only claimed protective role. I will say his role was literally just used in my last game, which is interesting, but doesn't mean earth didn't take inspiration from that game and copy it here. However his reaction towards casey indicates these two are likely not on the same team. MY view of vader is that he tends to blatantly buddy his mafia partners, even uninentionally lately in a lot of his scum games, so if casey ends up seeming town to me later I might want to pursue vader more, but considering I am scum reading casey higher than him, I am buying into the wifom that these two are not team mates for the time being.
