Okay so everything I said in the sign ups still applies here, the only thing I changed is now I am allowing mafia to ask one question about a role or character before the end of day phase one. Otherwise, no fake claims are provided, and only mafia will know what the theme is at the start of the game. Other than that, standard 7 v 2, and I will only answer questions regarding your own roles, or how roles that have flipped publicly interact with your role, etc. I know I am starting this kind of fast, but I am about to go to sleep and I don't wanna make every wait 8 hours while I sleep.

Me and mikal have both played on mafia scum before, never banned. I have played in three mafia championships on mafiauniverse, which is like the king of mafia sites. Never banned. I have simply never been banned on any platform. The fact that you want everyone banned for offending you is the epitome of why you will never be a moderator anywhere.

I'm genuinely so tired of seeing people misuse the term 'gaslighting'. I'm not even saying this just to you in particular, I'm just saying this in general because I see it all the time and it genuinely pisses me off. Disagreeing with someone is not gaslighting. Even misleading or outright lying to someone is not inherently gaslighting. Gaslighting is a complex abuse strategy that involves lots of conditioning over time to make someone doubt their own thoughts, memories, and emotions. Unless you think that everyone here is involved in a complex plot to mentally abuse you (and somehow I can buy that you'd actually believe that), then no, no one here is involved in any gaslighting.

Regardless, I think it creates an implicit bias. I agree with the lynch decision after the character and role WF went with as a fake claim, but it’s a learning experience for all of us. I think in future games we should all set our discords to idle or offline regardless of our affiliation
I probably wouldn't bother doing that. Discord is inherently easier to check than catching up on a forum game. Theres 100% chance I would be checking discord and also not be caught up on a mafia game as either affiliation. It's really just a bad reason to scum read someone, and I never gave any credence to this argument against whiteflame.

That is because uktra and lunatic plays terribly and scumtold. Ultra's char claim simply fitted mine and Supersaint balances out hated and IC well.
We did so bad that we survived to the end of the game and won by participating in killing both scum members back to back as soon as you were there to not troll anymore. Great point.

I agree with Savant that the Discord thing was kinda bs. You’re not supposed to use outside information. That defeats the purpose of the game. If WF had survived, scum had a great path to victory. I think for future games, everyone should be permanently show offline or idle to ensure these shenanigans don’t happen again.
I don't think anyone actually took this argument seriously. He happened to be right here, but he could have just as easily been wrong if he was a day vig and using this as his only logic. Again he had other reasons for scum reading whiteflame though he mentioned in dp2.

The town MVP was of course AdaptableRatman. Baiting the day 1 lynch in order to lull scum into a false sense of security while giving Mikal town cred was a brilliant strategy that instantly paid off when Vader chose to make Mikal king the following day.

Based on the information we did have however, I think we chose fairly well. There was just so much we didn't know about what roles were out there. Rolecopping Luna turned out to be a really good choice tho.
Btw I just had written out a big response to your last post in the day phase but as I was posting it I guess the thread was locked.
Long story short there was other reasons that whiteflame got lynched besides the discord activity thing (I don't think anyone including myself actually took that argument seriously in the first place). He also mentioned POE being a factor, combined with the role not making sense with a bodyguard, as well as too much anti town utility.
And the part about you being lynched, my response was basically that on paper this game seemed town sided a bit, but I don't think it was in actuality, because a lot of the town "confirmation" was via behavior, I should have been a pretty good mislynch target but luckily mikal ended up town reading me in dp2. Also most people who claim beloved princess or super saint are going to be scum read naturally, I think both roles were designed to be mislynch targets but luckily town out played that idea and were able to get around that. Basically I feel your frustration, and maybe it seemed unfair on paper, but I think town does deserve some credit for putting it together as well. I'll give most of said credit to mikal and then wylted for figuring out the solve in the end.

This game the theme will be hidden from town, though the title will be a hint as to the what the theme is. I assume players will eventually figure out what it is. There will be a non complex theme split, so while scum will be encouraged to fake claim, I will not be giving them help with any fake claims, though they will have the advantage of starting out knowing the theme. Otherwise it will be a fairly standard 7 town vs 2 scum game.
