All part of my master plan to confirm Austin without losing my roleblock. I knew scum more likely than not had a role designed for better kills and that if Vader was scum, the temptation to use it would be too great. Since he was my top scum read before it came down to me and Austin, I had a close to 50% chance of stopping the night kill.
That or I just got kind of lucky. Mostly the latter.

The only mafia strategy I see is a deliberate waive of the NK to implicate whoever Savant would’ve RBed and then lynch Savant himself for lying. But that’s very risky
If this did happen, it would have a 100% chance of stopping the night kill, whereas my roleblock wasn't guaranteed to get scum or even the scum doing the night kill specifically. And Vader should have known I was going to roleblock him, so why would he do the night kill?
So if that's the case, which I'm now not really sure about, it makes Earth probably the biggest suspect. And Wylted's push of me would set them up nicely for a double mislynch. I don't know how reasonable this is, but an Earth/Wylted team would be interesting.
I want to get thoughts on this from people who aren't Earth, WyIted, or Vader.

Did you ever claim the other options you were given?
They sucked. One let me block non-killing actions against me at night. One let me block any ability except the night kill. One let me take a player's x-shot abilities. The role block was the only option that let me stop night kills.

Why would scum sacrifice a night kill to "frame" a town member, when they could instead just guarantee they kill town at night? If it's to avoid getting lynched the next day, then that means I'm certainly not scum, because I'll def get lynched tomorrow if Vader flips town. Plus delaying kills of town gives town more time to do night actions and such.

I was wrong yesterday and I'm sorry about that. I'm glad we get the chance to talk this out at least because I'm very sure Vader is scum at this point. One thing that's odd is that I was very clear that I was the roleblocker and that I suspected Vader. I don't know why scum would choose to have him do the night kill, but unless someone else was a healer or something (and we've gotten zero claims of that), it's the only reasonable explanation for what happened last night.

Here's what Earth is struggling to articulate: Vader said he didn't get a notification at night saying his action failed, and then said that this means I must be lying. However, if he doesn't have a night action as he claims, then not getting a notification wouldn't tell him anything about if he was roleblocked, because there would be no action to block.
So his accusation against me implies that he must know whether or not he's roleblocked at night, and that he's lying about not having a night action. Since I know I did rb him, that makes him likely scum.

I agree. That probably means a big argument over accusing me, and he might already have the votes to lynch me. In my defense, yesterday could have ended a lot worse. And once I flip town, Austin will be glad he got confirmed before he lynched me, otherwise situation would be playing out the other way around.

He banned Kanye from Twitter for posting a swastika. Would have been really easy to say "I support free speech, so I'll allow this guy on my platform even if he's edgy." Why would he care about the optics of that if he intends to go and do a Nazi salute on national TV? I mean, Elon is definitely weird. But he's also weird enough to say "my heart goes out to you" after doing something similar to a Nazi salute without realizing the implication.

Manipulation and Role Prevention were always going to be inherently scummy categories. Given the open setup, I don't think it's that crazy for both to be town.
I believe scum isn't even in any of the categories, according to Luna's post. They just know which ones are fake. Given that I clearly fit in one, that improves the odds I'm town.
