I agree with this. I unvoted because I was going to investigate Austin and didn't want scum framing him. But if you're onboard with this, it increases my suspicions. I wouldn't be OMGUSing him if I didn't think he was a very good player. He's almost never been wrong with accusations before in my experience, so yeah, if it looks like he was breadcrumbing an accusation against me, and I'm not scum, that looks suspicious.

2. You were literally scum in that game. Like if your argument is that I lynch badly, that's a really bad example to give.
My argument is more that you've been successful at lynching me in the past, which is not a battle I want to fight again, even if I'm on the right side of it. Townies get lynched all the time on day 1.
I already said I scumread you because I felt you were coasting on your early claim in a way that didn't feel genuine.
Well that was after I revealed my role, so you didn't have much of a choice but to come up with an explanation.

A few things:
1. Town protective roles can be on me tonight as long as they don't reveal themselves today. If I just said I was confirmable, I'd be a target for a night kill but the doctor or whoever wouldn't bother to protect me.
2. The last time Austin accused me, I got lynched, and would likely have still gotten lynched if no one counterclaimed doctor. At this point I have no clue what will or won't make him scum read me, so better to stop the train early so we don't waste time. With this many votes, I'd have been forced to claim anyway and it would look more suspicious later.
3. Austin needs to go. He's smart enough that the only explanation I can think of for this is that he's scum and knows I'm town. Didn't even bother to explain why he scum read me and wants me to do that work for him. He's been breadcrumbing this accusation from earlier in the day phase, and I think he just latched onto Wylted's train hoping that his last successful lynch of me would get him towncred.

Lynching me dp1 is a huge gamble that doesn't even make sense. The odds are very strong that I did not lie about my game, which allows you to narrow down my role. Shouldn't be difficult to determine if I am scum later on based on what roles they have and whether they match up with the scum roles in US Senate Mafia.

Adrian Zenz is a joke of a scholar who has never been to the alleged "concentration camps"
I'd be hard-pressed to think of any time in history where countries with concentration camps allowed any media agency to visit them and report on them accurately first-hand. Zens is also not the only one making allegations, since CHRD and ICJJ have also studied the issue. I'm also not sure why people tend to assume Zens is just one person making things up, since he works with teams of researchers. You would have to discredit every member of the team, not just Zens, and most criticisms of him amount to "Zens criticizes China, therefore we can't trust him when he criticizes China."
I genuinely think those "evidence" are just false.
I suppose a bunch of human rights groups could have all conspired to invent a genocide. (Holocaust deniers would probably back you on that one.) But I would question what human rights abuses you believe China is capable of. What is your view on Tiananmen Square, for example? Or on religious restrictions in Tibet?
The most obvious example is an entire semester dedicated to teaching "philosophy" when in reality it is a puddle of rushed muddle where they actually think "there must not be a god" "marx is just right" "materialism is correct, idealism is wrong" and have you write test questions for it.
I'd definitely question the decision to cite a philosopher from the 19th century instead of teaching actual economics. (Marxism is really not compatible modern economcs.) Other countries have propaganda as well, but it tends to depend on the opinions of the teacher rather than being mandated by the government. Some teachers in the US will rant about socialism being terrible while others will say they love it.
Thus, many people's understanding of socialism even after graduating college stalls at "china good, socialism good, marx good, america bad"
It sounds like convincing people to think that is probably the entire point of the class. I'd caution you not to let schooling interfere with your education.

So we have a claim for US Senate mafia, US House of Reps mafia, and US Governors mafia. I don't think it's likely that all three are in the game. Since Casey claimed last, and because I think he'd be less likely to consider this than Austin when fake claiming, he's now a slight scum read.

I realized I miscalculated the odds earlier because I failed to account for scum already knowing two games in use. If I'd asked about two games at the start, I would actually have a 53% chance of identifying one game that wasn't already in use. If I was scum trying to gain towncred, I would probably just claim my actual game, but it does make me slightly less confident about Luna and Earth.

I guess that's fair. But I think hounding for claims within the first few minutes has its advantages. I don't think scum would want to use up their claims early, and with the time pressure, I think there's a good chance they would freak out and refuse to claim. Austin didn't resist at all, which makes him seem pretty safe in my eyes.

Plz take a look at what I wrote earlier regarding Earth and Luna: "Right now Luna and Earth are likely safe if they don't get counterclaimed. If scum can ask Pie about two games this early in the game, there's around a 50% chance that both would be in the game."
I'm the most clear right now, followed by Luna and then Earth. If I'm scum, you'd have to buy that I asked about two roles, assuming the 54% risk that both would be in the game already. Then, if that happened, you'd have to buy that I claimed my game first, despite a 70% chance that I would be counterclaimed.

I think part of the issue with this, and not just in China, is that if you ask 10 people what socialism means, you will get 20 different answers. You can get progressives to agree that "we need more socialism," but then they will argue over whether x, y, and z is actual socialism. It's probably the Chinese equivalent of an American politician saying "drain the swamp," because no one can agree on who is or isn't a part of the swamp.
I find it depreciatingly funny that some of the allegations for Uyghur “human rights violations” aside from actual prisons are just widespread malpractices in the workplaces
I think the main concern is that they are being put in actual prisons. There have been allegations of waterboarding, compulsory sterilizations, and forced labor. Whether or not you believe those allegations, they are the reason that the treatment of Uyghurs has come under international scrutiny.

I think it's likely that some people would be happier outside the Matrix than inside it. Someone who dies very young in the Matrix (and thus in real life) or who gets a painful and incurable disease in the Matrix might have been happier on the outside. Given the current understanding of my role, getting lynched was the best move though it wasn't intentional. That said, I realize I could have revoted for Moozer after whiteflame voted for me, then said something like "You guys owe me for giving you the win, now attack me at night so we can both win." I suspected Moozer of being a third party role, but I'm too used to TOS where executioners can only have town players as their target. I figured it worked the same way here, though I probably shouldn't have.
By the endgame Moozer had an easy path to victory by just offering an alliance with the scum, and idk why he didn't do that. He would have lost if I hadn't unvoted so quickly.
