  1. What are your current criticisms of the Republican Party?
  2. How would these same issues inhibit Ron DeSantis?

Democrats are prone to project their flaws and fears, so fanchick's "insults" are really confessions.

Projection is the process of displacing one’s feelings onto a different person, animal, or object. The term is most commonly used to describe defensive projection—attributing one’s own unacceptable urges (such as lying, stalking, grooming, violence, theft and other aberrant Democrat behaviors) to another. For example, if someone continuously bullies and ridicules a peer about his insecurities, the bully might be projecting his own struggle with self-esteem onto the other person.

The concept emerged from Sigmund Freud’s work on defense mechanisms and was further refined by his daughter, Anna Freud, and other prominent figures in psychology.
Roosevelt isn’t as complex as that.

Every “insult” he’s written is him plagiarizing people’s lines back at them.
His creativity is limited to repeating only what you say.

Jesus is a being of unconditional love.

For you to call him a serial killer is blasphemous, a mockery, and absolutely disrespectful to real christians who believe in the Bible.

This is a disgrace. You are a fake christian.

Do you want voting privileges to judge on debates?

There will be socio-cultural debates coming up in the next 2-3 weeks you might be interested in following.

The reasons behind the high suicide rate in the transgender community are complex. While societal intolerance and discrimination (social bullying) certainly play a role, other factors such as mental health issues can also contribute.

Yes, there has been increased visibility and acceptance of the transgender community, and this has led to more individuals feeling comfortable coming out and seeking support. However, this does not necessarily mean that society as a whole is fully accepting or tolerant of transgender individuals. Discrimination and violence against transgender people still exist, and many transgender individuals continue to face significant challenges and barriers in various aspects of their lives. Most trans people are not satisfied with simple tolerance. Full acceptance is the goal.

So, to answer your question, i don't think this is a simple either-or answer. The rise in visibility and acceptance of the transgender community has most certainly led to more individuals feeling comfortable coming out, but societal intolerance and discrimination can likely still contribute to the high suicide rate among transgender individuals.

Hard to say how this will end for PBS.

They’re connecting with one of the biggest companies in the world. At the same time, they’re going against the politics of their state and the governor is pulling the plug on their funding.

Yikes.

Trump found guilty. Must pay 5 million in damages
Ya, ever since Trump became a politician the American justice system has become corrupt. But before Trump, judges and doctors and the FBI were all very professional and competent but somehow after a great, honest guy like Trump with a stellar reputation that he built over decades starting with dodging the draft, the whole country  became a Banana Republic.
Out of curiosity, Roosevelt.

What are your thoughts on Ron DeSantis?

Walmart increases surveillance. Is the increase of security ethical or a violation of privacy?
Inspired to create this by Greyparrot’s thread.:

So as current rumors are surfacing about Walmart, here is the conjecture so far.:

While stores are now being shut down, several Walmart locations are now putting strict regulations in place for tighter security.

Said security will have cameras using facial recognition to highlight suspected thieves and detect items that were unpurchased.

The measures even include an employee shutting down a self-checkout device at anytime if they suspect a potential theft, forcing the customer to seek help.

In which case, a cashier will be more than happy to assist and reboot the machine, under the guise that it was a bug in the system. When in reality, it’s very deliberate.

There was another video I saw talking about this, but the claims being pushed were slightly darker.

This has always been a feature of the site.

You can only be a judge on Standard debates, all Rated debates are Open Voting.

So when I create a debate like the ‘Anakin Skywalker’ one and I opt for Judicial Decisión over Open Voting, I can then request five users as judges.

It will appear in their notifs and they can then accept the request or deny it.

But why are Asians notoriously bad drivers? Is it an eyesight thing? I gotta believe auto insurance in Japan in like 10,000 year. What is that about 20 million yen?
Might just be your cultural illiteracy. Nobody expects you to have a profound worldview outside of that basement you’re dwelling in.

Roosevelt is threatened by asians, women, and anyone with an average IQ.

It’s why he feels the need to fake a Harvard degree and military service to cope with the stress of losing forum arguments.

These 3 Deserve Credit
  1. Barney - If you read through any of the debates, particularly the Progressive ones, they provide a lot of insight for how to dismantle one-sided resolutions. Through his Debate Manual Guide and the Kritik doc, Barney ultimately defined the criteria for what a debate is. Without these standards, a lot of debates might be a clusterfuck of text without the proper styling or format.
  2. whiteflame - Whiteflame’s help with Tournaments and voting, as well as moderating impartially despite not being paid makes him one of the top contributors, right up there with Barney.
  3. PREZ-Hilton - Despite joking about letting the site burn, Wylted’s actually been very consistent with staying active, providing site updates, and respecting the system of Democracy. (Encouraging people to vote between the Old CoC and the new one.)

Mother doesnt like her child = Child damaged
What psychologists really want - and what the point of these studies is - is to get more people to visit psychologists so that psychologists can earn more money.
While there are con artists in every industry, psychology is an intense field that is hard to make a living at.

Con artists looking to make a quick buck are more likely to turn to easier options because psychology is such a competitive industry with a high turnover rate and a low chance of sufficient pay.

There’s also a code of ethics that demands the best behavior because one misstep could result in a license being revoked.

I dont consider psychology as a science. The psychology related studies usually have high failure rate. Any ideology that says "You are bad because this happened in your childhood" is not only very stupid, but one could even say pointless. Therefore, it is of no surprise that psychology didnt result in decrease of mental illnesses. In fact, the success rate of psychology in dealing with mental illnesses is non-existent. Prayer is more likely than psychology to cure the depression.
Psychology doesn’t use adjectives like ‘bad’ because that’s a subjective term.

If a person is demonstrating behavior that makes them a risk to those around them or themselves, psychology will describe those actions as ‘harmful.’

Psychologists are required to approach the subject of mental disorders with empathy and understanding, not scrutiny and criticism.

Harsh judgments are seen as bad conduct in the professional field.
