@ADreamOfLiberty
It's possible I could help IF you guys put it on github, and I'm not 100% sure about that.
It's on github already. I can add you as a collaborator if you give me your username.

Please join the development team if you're willing to dedicate an hour or two to learning Node.js. I already got the new site started, but it should go faster and be more sustainable with more people contributing.

Ofc. Just DM me on Discord. We can figure out theme and stuff
Want to do that for your upcoming game or should I start a new one?

Was the thing about the number of responses to the riddle day 1 resolved? Was that just a typo on your part?

Haven't hosted a game yet but I want to. Can I co-host a game with you (either your next game or a different game after that)?

You’ve just exhibited misunderstanding of superstition
superposition, not superstition

Interestingly, looking back at probabilities they were actually a bit better than I thought and actually slightly under confident. Like if I thought someone had 50% odds of being scum they actually had more like 52% odds. If I thought someone had 90% odds of being town it was more like 92%. Issue though is that being 50/50 on who scum is just isn't good enough to win consistently. With the odds I had on scum, I think I did realize I would lose the majority of the time, but around day 3 I figured my probabilities weren't going to shift enough to change PoE. So I got lazy and I think I paired Mharman and banana a bit too easily without being as meticulous as I'd been up to that point. A lot of preventable mistakes, but I don't know that preventing them would have been enough to win the game. I'd need like a 28 percentage point shift on Mikal, and even seeing that contradiction with Luna might not have swayed me by 28 pts.

@WyIted
When a member of the scum team is lynched they get to choose a town player to take with them
Well that's incredibly scum-sided

@AdaptableRatman
This game will prove why mechanics matter.
Town easily wins this by town locking a single player.
Created:
Posted in:

@WyIted
It still shrinks the scum pool
It's not like I got mislynched. I could still use my role and then Earth, banana, Mharman get lynched. Then town still uses. In this case it might work because Pie was still alive to catch Mikal but that's more of a coincidence than anything.

@ILikePie5
Earth was at the top of my list
Wait for town or scum and why? What was the connection to the counterclaim?
Created:
Posted in:

@ILikePie5
would’ve been good to have your role used
Yeah but only when you were still alive lol
Created:

@ILikePie5
I mean tbf we also used mod info to get to the Austin v Moozer counterclaim and that turned out to be a total red herring.

@Mharman
I got distracted before I could really hammer any of the points hard… but I did ping everyone to read the case in its entirety. I bolded stuff to draw attention to it as well
Yeah I really should have read the whole thing.
Created:

@ILikePie5
Literally me and WF were going crazy about how no one saw that besides Mharman, and no one did anything. Literally crying
Ok well it was buried in a list of like 13 points. If Mharman had hammered on that point I probably would have agreed with it. I mean, not that I blame him because he was the only one to notice it anyway.
Created:

@ILikePie5
Yes, he literally did. Here
Guess I should have read the whole thing, but I kind of got lazy at that point, skimmed the first few points, and thought it was mostly fluff. And I'd mostly decided to scum read Mharman by that point anyway. In hindsight that one point was the smoking gun.

@ILikePie5
diverted the lynch off of WF and onto Wylted DP1.
He said something, I said something, then Mikal did, then the train started. In hindsight everyone tried to take credit for that, and I think I already had this argument.

Either I missed it and blundered or Mharman forgot and blundered. But either way I should have been looking back.

@ILikePie5
I’m most disappointed in Austin though. He should’ve seen through it, but I presume he was busy elsewhere
I mean I don't blame him too much for not picking up on that one thing. Issue is that the strategy that works in one game screws us over in another.

@Mharman
Villainous Villains. Pie said he was a town gramps. That was a Lunatic game.
I know that point got brought up at one point, but then it made me more inclined to think Luna's roles could kind of be anything and so why should I be harsh on anyone for their claim?
Created:
Posted in:

@ILikePie5
Bruh Mikal literally contradicted what the mod said
Wait when did this happen?
Created:

@ILikePie5
but look at the flipped roles and characters. They all mechanically fit
Sure, but the question is what the threshold is for "mechanically fitting." Probably should have looked though more Luna games to figure that out, but I got distracted looking too much at behavior.
Created:

@ILikePie5
Mharman also picked up on the scumslip in DP3, but you just ignored it
I wasn't convinced it was a scum slip. Luna giving the full role name to the rolecop was more believable to me than a town grandpa. But we should have PoEd it down with Mharman's role.

@ILikePie5
you’re more confident on Banana, then you should make Banana be on the wagon, not Mharman.
I was more confident on Mharman being scum.

@ILikePie5
there was zero linkage between Beloved Princess and Jeopardy lol
I've also had a role where the character is only connected to one part of it. Like I was a miller soldier, and I was a "pawn" since they advance at the end of the game, but that has nothing to do with being a miller.
Created:
Posted in:

@ILikePie5
That’s…an interpretation lol
He said very blatantly that he had a "plan" to screw over scum if he got nked and then he had an investigative role. Figured the bluff was more likely than having a convenient role for that situation. Even now, I'm not sure Mikal wouldn't do that as town.
Created:
Posted in:
Now that I think about it, a lot depended on who got the sensor as well since there was a 75% chance that person wouldn't die at night. Like if I got it or Mharman got it, things could have played out differently. I think that was probably part of the bus plan since banana was very likely to be outed the next day.

@ILikePie5
there was zero linkage between Beloved Princess and Jeopardy
I figured he was fake claiming to avoid a night kill.
Created:

@ILikePie5
He didn’t but there was zero linkage between Beloved Princess and Jeopardy lol
I found it. It was the whole "double jeopardy" thing where he gambles at the start to either go vanilla or get a role cop.
Created:
Posted in:

@Mharman
Not sure if this got brought up in the game, but I realized that your role was totally confirmable.
Created:
Posted in:
-->
@ILikePie5
Mharman’s didn’t make sense to me either, but it did technically fit. Mikal’s was no where close lol
Do you remember where Mikal provided a justification and what it was? Still can't find it.
Created:
Posted in:
In retrospect, maybe I should have realized the "You are lying!" from banana was scripted. Almost got there but at the same time I don't think I would have really considered the whole bus thing. I think at that point Mikal could have said he tracked Mharman to Austin and I would have believed it.
Created:
Posted in:

@ILikePie5
I think you need to factor in character + role
I did. That was basically the only part I got right. Mistake was not looking too hard at Mikal's justification I think. At the time, Mharman's claim seemed more sus to me than his.
if town paid attention, Mharman caught Savant in a scumslip DP3
I wasn't scum though?

@ILikePie5
that’s the issue with probability unfortunately
Is it an issue with probability or just with the accuracy of my reads? Other than recording how much you suspect a person, how do you determine if your reads work better than the rate of chance? Even if I just categorized people as "scummy" or "townie," I don't think I'd do much better than random chance.
Created:
Posted in:

@Mikal
This was def town sided.
After WyIted's lynch I think so. But if he hadn't thrown, I'm not sure town really stands a chance.
Created:
Posted in:
Looking back at percentages, I think my behavioral reads worked at basically the rate of chance. Percentages were more accurate dp2 but biased by Moozer and Austin being basically confirmed. So yeah, I don't think I would have predicted the bus strategy 99 times out of 100.
Created:
Posted in:

@Mikal
Wylted was going out regardless. Way to sus and he didn’t have a claim lined up. Better to bus it
I guess you being scum makes more sense from the POV of WyIted not really cooperating with you. But why not line up a better claim for him? Or have him use the fake claim? I don't think you were really on the table to be lynched dp1.
Created:
Posted in:
-->
@Mikal
Did no one on your team use the fake claim? I did wonder about that.
Created:
Posted in:

@Mikal
What was your main reason for busing your two teammates? Did you think it increased your odds of victory, or did you think it would be more fun to win that way?
Created:
Posted in:
-->
@ILikePie5
At that point, but that can change as the game progresses, as you saw by Mharman susaing you
I still had a chance to use it the next day, and even then I didn't see a need to use it.
Created:
Posted in:

@ILikePie5
You were basically selfish this game by not using your role.
I only now my reads are bad in hindsight. If I'd known I was mostly wrong, I would have used my role obv.
Created:
Posted in:
-->
@ILikePie5
Again, you remove 2 players from POE by using your role DP2
But I wasn't in most people's PoE.
Created:
Posted in:
-->
@ILikePie5
Ya but we would’ve had confirmed townie WF alive to use a role. I’d still be alive. Mikal would’ve been dead instantly in LYLO if either one of us were alive.
If I'd thought your reads were better than mine, then I would have had different reads? Obviously I thought I was qualified to continue being alive, it's all hindsight for me at this point.
