RFK Jr. had a Town Hall with News Nation, and said

"I'm proud that president Trump likes me, even though I don't agree with him on most of his issues, because I don't want to alienate people, I want to bring people together."

See the snippet from The Hill on YouTube.

I am not sure what I feel about that answer.  I disagree with RFK Jr. on a number of things, and I disagree with Trump on most things....   Is this pandering?  Is it legitimate?  Is this naive? I really don't know what to think.

Thoughts?

Over $1.5M has been pledged for Hotez's  charity of choice if he debates JFK Jr. on Joe Rogans show, about the COVID vaccines, and vaccines in general.

Hotez is refusing to do it, because he says it is the same thing are arguing against a holocaust denier.  So a man of "science" wont engage in a debate, earning $1.5M for a charity, on the largest podcast platform in the world.

He is a coward, and has undermined his integrity and position.

Show how you have changed your mind on something, anything, that you never thought you would.

Here are a few of
1.  Trump.   I think he is a terrible person...  except for war.  I believe he is anti-war, and I could be convinced to vote for him on that basis alone.
2.  Tucker Carlson.  What a nut job, so I thought.  He really has some interesting and intelligent thoughts, especially in his twitter videos,
3.  Man buns...   They don't bother me anymore, I have just come to accept them.
4.  Pepsi vs Coke.   I was always Pepsi.   Now I am neither.
5.  Bill Gates.  I thought the guy pissed perfume and shit potpurri.  I have learned he is a megalomaniac, and not kind to humanity.

Rugby is a game of immense skill, and thought.  You need to be able to change and adapt on the fly.  There is no coaching on a play by play, the players have to control.  You also have a culture of work hard, respect to the ref, and respect to the entire community.  It is also accessible to all ages, is very inexpensive to run, and safer.  There are olympics versions for it, and proper international competitions, like the Six Nations, and World Cup.  109 countries play rugby, and are ranked by World Rugby.

American football has nothing on it.

This is a friendly "debate", I will not respond to people who are rude.

THoughts?

It is important that people understand the lens that is filtering or twisting the narrative they hear.

I think Twitter labelling, NPR, CBC, BBC etc as Government Funded, is important for people to anticipate the bias that may be part of the overall message.

Change my mind.

Why do people who have questions about a vaccine get tagged as being anti-vaxxer?

Why is it improper to ask questions about the vaccine process?

Medical regulators in Canada, the US, Ireland and others have put in special rules for what Dr's are allowed to say and do with patients as it relates to Covid.

I see the narrative is so aggressive, and the legitimate questions  get lost, filtered, censored or ignored.    I joined this site because I thought as a group this could be an open and uncensored place of discourse, where we could look at studies, emerging studies, and even anecdotal reports to properly discuss the implications of this EUA vaccine, the vaccine passport concept,  etc.

Am I in the right spot to have curious conversations about these issues?
