Oh vigilante like a super hero, I thought he was talking about the role vigilante.
ROLEs are following characters extremely closely

By the way, I know for a fact Drafterman was a town.
drafter is now ragnar
do you know his ROLE or just alignment?

-->@oromagias I keep saying, consistency is SCUM trait. TOWN has to keep multiple possibilities in mind.Okay.What is your character claim?I'm not claiming my character unless 4/7 people want me to.
I vote that SIr Anon claims character (only) now. In fact, I think everybody should claim character because if we don't hit scum today our chances are pretty bad.
I need three more TOWN to support this vote, please.

@Lunatic
It would have been better if the lovers would have died over a potential cop and or watcher or whatever else investigative roles town have.
So I claimed an apparent investigative role (X-ray vision) hoping to attract the hit. And losing 2/7 TOWN is a definite big loss vs. a less certain hit on investigative role.

SO it looks like BATGIRL and BATWOMAN are two distinct characters in Arrowverse.
Batgirl was Barbara Gordon before she was paralyzed and became Oracle.
Batwoman has her own show.
Which are you claiming?

me: I assumed there was some info role
TUF: So you didn't think there was a cop or any other power role either?

What is your character claim?

@Barney
I just barely got on for one. For two, no one once asked me for a character claim lol. I am batgirl.
hmmm... It looks to me like Ruby Rose is known as batwoman in the Arrowverse, not batgirl.
Ragnar or other Arrow fans need to advise. Is Batwoman ever called Batgirl in the arrowverse? Would speed submit the PM as batgirl or definitiely batwoman?

@Lunatic
I mean revealing that now doesn't stop them from being killed ya know np2 lol.
That gambit was never going to last two nights. If we don't lynch SCUM today I don't think TOWN has much of a chance.
If they were going to be killed regardless, wouldn't it have been best for that to have happened np1 instead of the watcher? Your motives make no sense.
Yeah but I didn't know there was a WATCHER and why would it be better to lose 2 TOWN votes DP1? I assumed there was some info role but what & where unknown. I just hoped for better info DP2.

Were I scum, I would have had someone to catch me up on what Drafter was up to; especially him implying a role claim.
Hence town read on your apparent confusion as you walked in the door or else good acting
Created:

@Lunatic
@oromagiDo you still scum read the lovers for surviving?
I never did. Both claim that Speed PM gave "you are both TOWN." So half/half wasn't ever really an option. They are both TOWN or BOTH SCUM. The idea that the game could end with a single lucky lynch DP1 never seemed very likely so I read them as both TOWN but I wanted to give SCUM a reason to keep them alive.
Created:
Posted in:
I don't think that's a reason to townread him, though. Drafter is definitely smart enough to do that as scum.
sure but to what utility. It definitely attracts attention but if you don't want investigation you are better off claiming PGO. A bomb claim dissuades NK but no other act, therefore much more likely TOWN.

I offered Chris yesterday that if he want my role he could organize a 4of 7 vote. If I thought SCUM had offered me a ROLE claim I would have tried hard to put those 4 votes together but Chris was not interested because he is SCUM and is uncertain how that might play. Since I have claimed a non-visiting role, SCUM has all the information they want only a TOWN would still be left wondering whether my claim was legit and wanting to challenge.
I am 60-70% SCUM team is SA and Chris. I am open to changing my mind in light of new information but both keep clutching their identities close- which tells me that their characters are also very closely connected to their roles.

@Sir_Harrison
OK so I VTL'd SirA for character claim 13 hours ago and he went with OMGUS. We were told in OP that there is no theme split so nobody should have much problem with revealing character, particularly when were down to picking 2 scum out of a 3 person pile with one DP left.
He had a profile picture of a particular character. I'm highly skeptical of your guess that that was meant to hint at being a bomb.
OK I am happy to hear your theories about what Drafter was up to. After DP1 started, drafter changed his profile pic to the picture found here:
Bette is a bomb defusal expert who is transformed into a human bomb who spontaneously combusts anyone she touches. Better is essentially a one episode villain.
The picture leads us to exactly one character claim and that character is incredibly on the nose for the role of BOMB while also having so little history that any other ROLE claim seems unlikely.
The connection is pretty straightforward. You say its only a guess but I can't think of alternative explanations. What are your alternative explanations?

@skittlez09
@oromagialso I think you're scum.elaborate?
If I believe that you are MILLER than the odds are there's a COP
If I believe the LOVERS (i kind of think i do) then there 5 left.
I am supergirl and drafterman was fake claiming BOMB, which is not the kind of thing one does as SCUM.
That leaves TUF, who drafterman clearly thought was TOWN although I don't know why for sure. I kind of wonder if TUF was not campaigning about blocks in the mafia chat, tho.
That leaves Mister and Sir, and kinky is, um, a SCUM tell but also these are the two who have given no info of any kind and therefore most likely to be scum.

@Barney
are you a Plastique? yes or no?I'm not the Elongated Man, as much as I wish I was, since those powers are dope.
Drafterman had profile pic of this villan most of DP1
But you don't seem to recognize that character so I'm thinking that's not something you noticed.....which means that drafter was probably faking a soft claim of BOMB....are you also soft claiming fake BOMB?

I don't mind your bickering ways, myself. It doesn't feel personal and it does give you a certain persona that makes you hard to read but able to say a lot which is sometimes useful although I don't think the bickering itself elicits much information.

1. skittlez097. MisterChris8. SirAnonymousI think it's one of these 3. Skittlez is top
2 of these 3 and skittlez is only scum if there's no COP. (Unless you and Intel are gambiting, that is)

Created:

@drafterman
Cops generally don’t out innos except to save someone.
Yeh, & my best guess is that if there's a COP he checked out TUF.
Therefore, I'm down to SA and MrC
VTL Sir Anonymous
Character claim first, please

In light of this development and Oro's recent blunder essentially incentivizing mafia to spare the lovers and confuse us more, I am really starting to wonder about Oromagi.
Either I incentivized SCUM to not kill LOVERS or I blundered.
If you're giving me credit for keeping the LOVERS alive then where is the fault?

ROMEO and JULIET
ACT III scene ii
Gallop apace, you fiery-footed steeds,
Towards Phoebus' lodging: such a wagoner
As Phaethon would whip you to the west,
And bring in cloudy night immediately.
Spread thy close curtain, love-performing night,
That runaway's eyes may wink and Romeo
Leap to these arms, untalk'd of and unseen.
Lovers can see to do their amorous rites
By their own beauties; or, if love be blind,
It best agrees with night. Come, civil night,
Thou sober-suited matron, all in black,
And learn me how to lose a winning match,
Play'd for a pair of stainless maidenhoods:
Hood my unmann'd blood, bating in my cheeks,
With thy black mantle; till strange love, grown bold,
Think true love acted simple modesty.
Come, night; come, Romeo; come, thou day in night;
For thou wilt lie upon the wings of night
Whiter than new snow on a raven's back.
Come, gentle night, come, loving, black-brow'd night,
Give me my Romeo; and, when he shall die,
Take him and cut him out in little stars,
And he will make the face of heaven so fine
That all the world will be in love with night
And pay no worship to the garish sun.

HAMLET
ACT II scene ii
What a piece of work is a man! how noble in reason!
how infinite in faculty! in form and moving how
express and admirable! in action how like an angel!
in apprehension how like a god! the beauty of the
world! the paragon of animals! And yet, to me,
what is this quintessence of dust? man delights not
me: no, nor woman neither, though by your smiling
you seem to say so.

the MERCHANT of VENICE
ACT IV scene i
The quality of mercy is not strain'd,
It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven
Upon the place beneath: it is twice blest;
It blesseth him that gives and him that takes:
'Tis mightiest in the mightiest: it becomes
The throned monarch better than his crown;
His sceptre shows the force of temporal power,
The attribute to awe and majesty,
Wherein doth sit the dread and fear of kings;
But mercy is above this sceptred sway;
It is enthroned in the hearts of kings,
It is an attribute to God himself;
And earthly power doth then show likest God's
When mercy seasons justice. Therefore, Jew,
Though justice be thy plea, consider this,
That, in the course of justice, none of us
Should see salvation: we do pray for mercy;
And that same prayer doth teach us all to render
The deeds of mercy.

AS YOU LIKE IT
ACT II scene vii
All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players:
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages. At first the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms.
And then the whining school-boy, with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress' eyebrow. Then a soldier,
Full of strange oaths and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honour, sudden and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon's mouth. And then the justice,
In fair round belly with good capon lined,
With eyes severe and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws and modern instances;
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slipper'd pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side,
His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank; and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion,
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.

HENRY V
ACT IV scene iii
Enter the KING
WESTMORELAND
O that we now had hereBut one ten thousand of those men in EnglandThat do no work to-day!
KING HENRY V
What's he that wishes so?My cousin Westmoreland? No, my fair cousin:If we are mark'd to die, we are enowTo do our country loss; and if to live,The fewer men, the greater share of honour.God's will! I pray thee, wish not one man more.By Jove, I am not covetous for gold,Nor care I who doth feed upon my cost;It yearns me not if men my garments wear;Such outward things dwell not in my desires:But if it be a sin to covet honour,I am the most offending soul alive.No, faith, my coz, wish not a man from England:God's peace! I would not lose so great an honourAs one man more, methinks, would share from meFor the best hope I have. O, do not wish one more!Rather proclaim it, Westmoreland, through my host,That he which hath no stomach to this fight,Let him depart; his passport shall be madeAnd crowns for convoy put into his purse:We would not die in that man's companyThat fears his fellowship to die with us.This day is called the feast of Crispian:He that outlives this day, and comes safe home,Will stand a tip-toe when the day is named,And rouse him at the name of Crispian.He that shall live this day, and see old age,Will yearly on the vigil feast his neighbours,And say 'To-morrow is Saint Crispian:'Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars.And say 'These wounds I had on Crispin's day.'Old men forget: yet all shall be forgot,But he'll remember with advantagesWhat feats he did that day: then shall our names.Familiar in his mouth as household wordsHarry the king, Bedford and Exeter,Warwick and Talbot, Salisbury and Gloucester,Be in their flowing cups freshly remember'd.This story shall the good man teach his son;And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by,From this day to the ending of the world,But we in it shall be remember'd;We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;For he to-day that sheds his blood with meShall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,This day shall gentle his condition:And gentlemen in England now a-bedShall think themselves accursed they were not here,And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaksThat fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.
Re-enter SALISBURY
SALISBURY
My sovereign lord, bestow yourself with speed:The French are bravely in their battles set,And will with all expedience charge on us.
KING HENRY V
All things are ready, if our minds be so.
WESTMORELAND
Perish the man whose mind is backward now!
KING HENRY V
Thou dost not wish more help from England, coz?
WESTMORELAND
God's will! my liege, would you and I alone,Without more help, could fight this royal battle!

Julius Caesar
ACT III scene ii
Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears;
I come to bury Caesar, not to praise him.
The evil that men do lives after them;
The good is oft interred with their bones;
So let it be with Caesar. The noble Brutus
Hath told you Caesar was ambitious:
If it were so, it was a grievous fault,
And grievously hath Caesar answer'd it.
Here, under leave of Brutus and the rest--
For Brutus is an honourable man;
So are they all, all honourable men--
Come I to speak in Caesar's funeral.
He was my friend, faithful and just to me:
But Brutus says he was ambitious;
And Brutus is an honourable man.
He hath brought many captives home to Rome
Whose ransoms did the general coffers fill:
Did this in Caesar seem ambitious?
When that the poor have cried, Caesar hath wept:
Ambition should be made of sterner stuff:
Yet Brutus says he was ambitious;
And Brutus is an honourable man.
You all did see that on the Lupercal
I thrice presented him a kingly crown,
Which he did thrice refuse: was this ambition?
Yet Brutus says he was ambitious;
And, sure, he is an honourable man.
I speak not to disprove what Brutus spoke,
But here I am to speak what I do know.
You all did love him once, not without cause:
What cause withholds you then, to mourn for him?
O judgment! thou art fled to brutish beasts,
And men have lost their reason. Bear with me;
My heart is in the coffin there with Caesar,
And I must pause till it come back to me.

COUNTER 2.2
HUMANITY
- In R1, PRO suggested the absence of infanticide is one hallmark of human dignity.
- "Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones"
- 1 SAMUEL 15 YHWH orders Saul to kill infants and breastfeeding babies, which Saul does [5]
- "Thus saith the Lord of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt. Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass."
- And it came to pass, that at midnight the Lord smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle. And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.
- GENESIS 22 GOD says to Abraham kill me a son [7]
- And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.
- And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
- And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
- And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
- And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.
- And Moses spake unto the people, saying, Arm some of yourselves unto the war, and let them go against the Midianites, and avenge the Lord of Midian.
- And the children of Israel took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods.
- And they burnt all their cities wherein they dwelt, and all their goodly castles, with fire.
- And they took all the spoil, and all the prey, both of men and of beasts.
- And they brought the captives, and the prey, and the spoil, unto Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and unto the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the camp at the plains of Moab, which are by Jordan near Jericho.
- And Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and all the princes of the congregation, went forth to meet them without the camp.
- And Moses was wroth with the officers of the host, with the captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, which came from the battle
- And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive?
- Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the Lord in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the Lord.
- Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.
- But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.
- CON won't claim to know much about the Bible, but CON is pretty sure that Moses, YHWH, Saul, Abraham- those are the good guys doing all that baby killing, right?
- Infanticide is quite biblical or at least the Bible is quite infanticidey
